Agathe von Trapp, Johanna von Trapp, Martina von Trapp, Werner von Trapp, Rupert von Trapp, Hedwig von Trapp, and Maria Franziska von Trapp were Agathe Whitehead’s seven children.

What Happened To Georg von Trapp’s First Wife? Agathe Whitehead was born on June 14, 1891, and died on September 3, 1922, at the age of 31 years. Agathe Whitehead died from a scarlet fever epidemic that struck.

Most of the children of Agathe Whitehead were infected with scarlet fever and she herself spent over seven months in the hospital but she did not recover fully so she was discharged. After a few days of leaving the hospital, Agathe Whitehead died.
