After Thompson’s prior cheating scandals, he and Kardashian reportedly reconciled over the summer and recently discussed having a second child together via a surrogate.
The last thing Khloe Kardashian probably needs right now is to deal with a new report that her on-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson has been cheating again.
But such a report has emerged, courtesy on an Instagram model’s claim that she hooked up with the NBA player in January — after she said he assured her he was single.
“He told me he was not in a relationship anymore, so I said OK,” the model, Sydney Chase, said in a podcast interview about Thompson, as relayed by Page Six and the Daily Mail. “We talked, we hung out multiple times, we went out together, everything.”
But according to reports, Thompson, 30, and Kardashian, 36, were very much in a relationship earlier this year — after the couple endured multiple previous reports that he likes the company of other women.
The Boston Celtics player and the reality TV star reportedly reconciled last summer while quarantining together with their 3-year-old True. Page Six said they had even begun discussing the idea of hiring a surrogate to have another child together.
But according to Chase’s interview on the “No Jumper” podcast, she flat-out asked Thompson: “Are you single?” She said he allegedly responded, “Yes.”
Chase said they spent enough time together that she was able to share intimate details of his anatomy on the podcast, according to Page Six.
“It happened,” Chase said about their hookup,” and then I found out he was not single, and I cut him off.”
Both Page Six and the Daily Mail said Kardashian and Thompson’s representatives did not respond to requests for comment about the latest cheating accusation.
Chase’s claims come at a time when Kardashian is trying to move past another recent embarrassment: The controversy over her family’s efforts to get an unedited bikini photo of her removed from the internet.
The situation renewed criticism that Kardashian and her famous reality TV sisters profit off a culture that fuels intense scrutiny of women’s appearance and promotes “impossible” and “unrealistic” standards of beauty.
Critics specifically accused Kardashian and her sisters of contributing to the body image problems experienced by many women and girls by constantly posting edited and retouched photos of themselves when promoting their TV show, fashion and beauty brands and other products.
While Kardashian defended herself by explaining that she, too, has “struggled with body image her whole life” her recent Instagram posts show that she is likely to continue to post glamorous photos of herself that appeared highly edited.
Kardashian’s recent posts also include photos of just her with her daughter True — no Thompson in sight — as she wishes the little girl a happy third birthday.
For a photo of True in a bedroom filled with pink balloons of various shapes and sizes, Kardashian wrote: “Happy birthday my sweet True!!!! You have changed my life in more ways than I ever could have dreamed of.”
As it well known, True’s April 2018 birth came at a tumultuous time in her parents’ relationship. The athlete, then playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, was was caught on video with multiple women just days before Kardashian gave birth.
The couple worked things through, but a few months later Thompson was “very touchy-feely” with another woman in a club, US Weekly reported at the time.
In 2019, Thompson was accused in yet another cheating scandal, this time involving Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s now-former best friend. That scandal prompted Kardashian to call it quits with Thompson — seemingly for good.
“She has had enough,” a source told TMZ at the time.
At first, Kardashian blamed Woods for the hookup, but after facing backlash, Kardashian turned her wrath on Thompson. In a series of tweets, Kardashian wrote: “Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault.”
