Maggie Peterson Husband – Maggie Peterson, an American actress and singer, was married to Gus Mancuso.

Peterson was most recognized for his role on The Andy Griffith Show as Charlene Darling.

Peterson also appeared in the episode “A Girl for Goober” as Doris (1968).

In 1978, Mancuso and Peterson married.

Mancuso was a jazz performer.

In 1968, Peterson met Mancuso while performing as an opening act for Andy Griffith at a Lake Tahoe casino.

The pair lived in Los Angeles for a while, where Peterson did commercials, before settling in Las Vegas, where Peterson worked as a location scout for film and television.

Peterson’s health had deteriorated since the death of her husband Gus, and she died on May 15, 2022.

Peterson died in her sleep on May 15, 2022, surrounded by family and friends, according to a statement from a family cousin who identified her as “Aunt Maggie.”
