Today, ESPN’s Mel Kiper released his last first-round mock, and the Cincinnati Bengals selected George Karlaftis, one of the greatest pass-rushers in this year’s class.
Kiper had hoped to trade tight end Trey McBride to Cincinnati, but Karlaftis was the best player available at the time.

Karlaftis has been a hot issue in the media recently, with reports claiming the NFL isn’t as high on him as other experts and pundits believe.
He’s ranked 18th on Arif Hasan’s consensus big boards, which are made up of 82 players, but rumors indicate he’ll be knocked out in the first round.
