Stephen Colbert, an American comedian, hails from Washington, D.C.

He grew up in the Maryland suburb of Bethesda and the South Carolina suburb of James Island.


He comes from a Christian Catholic family.

Since September 2015, Stephen has also been a humorous host on The Late Show.

He and Evelyn Colbert have been married since 1993 and have three children together.
