Ex-Arsenal Striker Chuba Akpom Reportedly Heading to Ajax in Summer Move
Chuba Akpom, the former Arsenal striker, appears to be making his way to Ajax this upcoming summer.
Sources suggest that he is gearing up to depart Championship club Middlesbrough in favor of a permanent move to the Dutch powerhouse Ajax, as reported by talkSPORT.
Having come through the ranks of Arsenal’s youth team, the 27-year-old player tallied an impressive 28 goals during the previous season.
Now, his path seems to be leading him away from the English side towards Ajax.
Reports indicate that both Middlesbrough, where he last played, and Ajax have come to an agreement on a transfer fee of £12 million for the former England youth international.
Additionally, there had been advanced discussions between the striker and Rennes of France.
